Choose does not have a good score on IMDB, but I don’t think it is getting a fair shake. It does scream that “B Film! B Film” aesthetic, but something about Choose moves past the overall sense of flub. The acting is not exemplary in any way, but the plot sustains the film for the most part. I am a sucker for “game / moral / choice” type films as it is, so when I read the description (despite the terrible rating), I knew I had to check it out. I will say that there are a lot of logical flaws in the film, and the movie feels disconnected (until the “twist” at the end), but the individual choices the killer makes people decide against kept my interest. I will say that the main character solving the crime (above her father, the police chief) was a bit ridiculous. Honestly, the best parts of the movie take place in the first 1/4 and last 1/4 of the film, so it was about 1/2 worth watching (if that makes sense). Check it out of if you like the Saw type genre (but do not expect Saw 1 or Saw 2 quality). If you have seen films like Nine Dead or Die, it would be clumped with those types of films. See it if it is around, but do not go out of your way!
